About the Role:
As the Data Platform Architect, you will help define the vision, strategy, roadmap, and help built the data platform.
What You'll Do:
- Lead critical data platform architecture decisions across the whole Craft Data Platform
- Lead the vision and design of architectural roadmaps and data technology architectures
- Build foundational pieces of the data platform, such as pipeline infrastructure, data lineage and governance, and entity resolution
- Work closely with Craft data engineers to deliver the strategy through clear leadership/direction.
- Provide expertise on the overall data engineering best practices, standards, architectural approaches and complex technical resolutions
Who You Are:
- 10+ years of experience in a Data Engineer, Data Platform Architect or Solution Architect role in Data Engineering/Analytics-related businesses with various infrastructure technologies.
- Experience with technologies like Python, Airflow, distributed and streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis), ETL tools, CI/CD, Terraform, and Datawarehousing solutions.
- Experience building data-intensive applications in AWS (AWS Solutions Architect certification is a plus)
- Prior experience at high-growth, venture-backed startups.
- A high-energy and action-oriented individual with a passion for moving quickly.
