This company in the scientific publishing sector, dedicated to developing an open-source platform, is looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer that helps us to design and build a new generation of tools that will transform open-access publishing. Your Main responsibilities

Participate in technical research and development of our Azure Cloud solutions.
Contribute to the improvement of processes and quality assurance.
Automate the provisioning and management of our systems infrastructure.
Perform system health and performance monitoring.
Follow security best practices.
Collaborate with 14 Software Development teams.
Handle more than 200 applications across more than 20 different environments and dozens of different technologies.

Requirements

Experience with Cloud environments, preferably Azure.
Experience with scripting languages, preferably Powershell.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
Experience administrating database engines (ex: SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
Knowledge of systems networking.
Knowledge of docker containers and/or Kubernetes.
Knowledge of Continuous Delivery and Continuous Deployment.
Knowledge of NoSQL systems (MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis…).
