Serrala is seeking a seasoned Director of Field Marketing Europe who will be responsible for driving strategic marketing programs in close partnership with sales. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the role also has direct accountability to the European sales leadership.
This individual must demonstrate business and sales competence, strategic marketing experience and team leadership in technology companies.
Your tasks:
Team Leadership: Build, lead and mentor a field marketing team deployed across Europe
Evangelist for Europe: Be the passionate voice for European customers internally and externally, evangelizing our company vision and marketing strategy for the region
Driving Demand and Pipeline: Accountable for growing and influencing pipeline targets through effective use of ‘always-on’ demand generation campaigns and account-based strategies
Deep sales alignment: Work closely with the sales organization to understand their objectives and challenges. You will formulate ideas and strategies to optimize the marketing and sales programs across different segments and personas
Global/local alignment: Implement regional marketing plans in partnership with global teams such as corporate marketing, brand, digital, product, and sales leadership.
Regional campaign execution: Ensure local relevance of global campaigns and implement targeted campaigns to address specific in-field needs not served by the global campaign plan.
Partner/channel engagement: Work with the channel team to execute partner activities in your region
KPI accountability: Translate the global marketing plan into European-specific targets, goals, initiatives, and KPIs
Regional and local events: Develop an integrated offline and online event strategy aligned with field targets, e.g., as leads to sales, brand awareness, account engagement, partner events, industry/trade groups, in collaboration with the global campaign management team and corporate events.
Data driven: Continuously optimize MQL to SQO and nurture programs, always connected to sales
90-day focus: Create a rolling calendar of 90 days of integrated customer acquisition and retention activities
Sales enablement: Provide tailored content to empower sales teams in customer outreach and engagement
Your profile:
8+ years of marketing, strategic, commercial, and technical experience. An understanding of fast-growing tech and/or fintech SaaS companies is a plus.
Mastery of lead generation engines at scale, especially in digital fields, which fuel sales/revenue growth
Outstanding leadership skills and proven ability to recruit, develop, and coach talent. You represent a caring and calm personality and are not afraid of taking difficult decisions.
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment; experience designing and executing processes for scalability.
You are a strategic thinker who can formulate and execute marketing strategies.
You are data driven, while you maintain your creative vision.
You are capable or have experience serving as an organization's spokesperson.
