The Lead Salesforce Application Developer is responsible for the development and implementation of Salesforce.com solutions to support the organization’s strategic needs. The developer will work closely with stakeholders across functional areas to deliver well-structured data in a reliable, efficient, and timely way. We are looking for a strong Salesforce CRM developer. 

New Ways of Work: The work is completed 100% remote anywhere in the United States except Hawaii or United States Territories with potential travel of 20% required. Travel expectations are to be in Rosemont, IL one (1) week per month (Monday morning thru Friday afternoon). Minimal travel to divisions and vendor seminars.  

Responsibilities:

Review project objectives and determine best technology to apply
Design and build large scale datasets for a wide range of consumer needs
Build, test and implement highly efficient data pipelines using a variety of technologies
Develop best practice standards for solution design and data structures
Analyze new data sources to understand quality, availability and content
Write technical design documentation
Conducts peer code reviews
Create and executes unit tests
Supports QA team during testing
Mentor less experienced members of the development team
 

Qualifications:

Education/Training:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required
Salesforce certification preferred
 

Related Experience:

6+ years of professional IT experience
4+ years of Salesforce CRM related experience
 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:  

Experience overseeing other developers
Proven ability to analyze and understand existing processes and code
Works and communicates effectively with all levels of management
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Must work well within team-oriented environments. 
Knowledge of Sales and Service Clouds
Salesforce APEX classes, AURA coding practices
HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
Knowledge of SQL, SOQL & writing queries
Knowledge of Agile Methodology
Experience in web application development OR hands-on website development experience
 

Familiarity with:

Lightning Web Components
Web Services, JSON
Git, BitBucket
Jira
Visual Studio Code, Eclipse
 
Nice to have:

Snowflake
Java
API development (Mulesoft)
Salesforce Einstein Dashboard development
Alteryx
Kinesis or Kafka
