As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software products. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our development team to create and execute test plans, identify and document bugs, and verify fixes. As such, the ideal candidate will possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a keen attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and create test cases
- Develop and execute automated test scripts
- Identify and document software defects and track them to resolution
- Participate in the creation and maintenance of test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Communicate test results and provide detailed reporting to the development team
- Analyze and improve existing testing methodologies and processes
- Conduct manual and automated functional, regression, and performance testing
Requirements
- English level C1
- 4 years of experience with manual and automated testing methodologies
- Strong experience with Cypress for CRUD operations
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, JMeter, and Cucumber
- Ability to work collaboratively with development teams to identify and resolve issues
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Javascript and Typescript
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Nice to have: experience with Azure DevOps
ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT INFORMATION: This is a contractor position, paid hourly with the option of becoming a employee after 3 months.
