About project

We are looking for a Python developer to support the project One Forecasting Network. Daily tasks will include developing and evaluating the analytical algorithms, identifying issues and potential new features in the analytical solution, coding, refactoring of the code - translating R code to Python language, data analysis in Python, running frameworks in Python.

Must have:

At least 3+ years of experience in Python (numpy, scipy, scikit-learn, tensorflow, matplotlib, pandas)
Experience in data science projects
Advanced skills and experience with git version control and JIRA-like task management
At least 3+ years of experience in SQL
At least 3 years experience in software development with strong object oriented programming
AWS environment knowledge basics
Docker principles
Code refactoring
Problem solving and issue identification
Unix
English at least at B2 level
Team work
Good communication skills
Agile work

Nice to have:
R language experience in order to evaluate some of remaining code and convert/improve/translate it into python
Kubeflow / AWS batch
Time series & forecasting knowledge preferred
