The position:

What you’ll do:
You will be heading the South European Team (30% of your time) and act as a Senior Sales Director in Spain (70% of your time). The South European Team consists of 4 senior Business Development Directors for Spain, Greece, Israel and Italy.
South European Team Lead responsibilities as:

Motivate the team to perform & provide recognition for their accomplishments

Define team targets & implement a timeline for achievement

Conduct coaching conversations about development, performance and engagement with the team members

Flag any issues and proactively discuss resolution in order to keep employees engaged and to retain internal talent

Leverage synergies between the countries and create a regional strategy for South Europe
Senior Sales Director in Spain
-
You will be working with current partners (e.g. energy utilities) and searching for new customers, and acting as the commercial representative of Sympower in Spain
-
You will be responsible for the full sales cycle: from first contact with the counterpartners until the handover to implementation
-
You will be responsible for defining the overall Sales Strategy for Spain together with the Business Development Manager in Spain.

Present Sympower successfully to leads, partners and other stakeholders

Be proactive in new advancements in our industry and advise Sympower on new product development
What you'll need:

Educational background in energy, engineering and/or business
-
Minimum 5 years of experience working in the energy domain

Strong leadership & people skills
-
Ability to build long-term partnerships with a strong sales track record

Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English, verbal and written

Comfortable in an international, fast-paced, scale-up environment

Eager to take initiative and ownership

You are based in Spain, preferably around Madrid, as part of our international commercial team
Good to have skills
