🌍 How does Finalis work?

We are a fully-remote company with Finalists distributed between the time zones of Eastern Standard Time and Eastern European Time .
If you’re located outside this time zone range, depending on the needs of your team, you may be requested to be available during specific hours.
Although we don’t have an official physical place to work, we promote gathering with your team or other colleagues whenever possible.

As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for understanding our internal and external users’ needs and designing delightful experiences to solve their challenges and deliver new solutions elevating the product and service we provide.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, collaborating with other product designers, product managers, engineers, and business teams to ensure that your designs can be implemented and will solve real pain points in the most efficient way possible.

✨ What will you be doing?

Solve complex, undefined problems that explore different strategic areas. Design solutions that address user needs and drive business growth.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, helping to translate high-level vision and strategic objectives in order to define and improve the interface and experience of Finalis, delivering outstanding design artifacts, which in turn will provide exceptional customer experience.
Be in constant contact with users. Gather insights, validate ideas, receive feedback, and test solutions.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to communicate and test design concepts and user flows.
Contribute to research initiatives and conduct solution validation processes. Incorporate insights into design decisions to fulfill user and business needs.
Work closely with engineering teams to ensure the feasibility of design solutions and collaborate throughout the development lifecycle.
Actively contribute to our Design System by keeping design components available and up to date in prototyping tools, ensuring that reusable components fit visually and functionally together.
Participate in Design Feedback sessions giving and receiving feedback in an appropriate way. Understand UX debt and make recommendations for its resolution.
Advocate and evangelize design processes within the company.
Stay up-to-date with design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to continuously enhance your skills and contribute fresh ideas to the team.

💬 Who are we looking for

You have exceptional written and spoken English
You have a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
You are proficient with Figma, and other design tools
You have demonstrated experience in creating user-centered designs with a portfolio showcasing your design skills, including wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces.
You have excellent communication skills and strong organizational skills to work in a multidisciplinary environment and with different stakeholders
You have the ability to understand and empathize with users' needs, behaviors, and motivations, and translate them into design decisions that enhance user experiences
You have the experience to identify design challenges, propose creative solutions, and iterate based on feedback and data-driven insights
You have the ability to work swiftly with a high sense of urgency and be comfortable with shifting priorities and deadlines
You are a self-starter, a quick learner, and highly organized with attention to detail
You have the ability to follow up; know what's going on at all times and respond quickly
You are flexible, patient, persistent, and have a team spirit attitude
An open and pragmatic mindset to make decisions according to each scenario and challenge.
You have an ego-free attitude. Be open to feedback, discard ideas for better ones, and value constructive criticism.

You will report to and work directly with your Head of Product Design, although you will have input from other members of the Finalis team, including Technical Leads and Product Managers.

You will have to show self-management skills and proactivity, appropriating and effectively gathering internal and external resources with a minimum level of supervision while applying correct and appropriate criteria to the different complications that may arise.
