Tequila Works is looking for a passionate Technical Animator/ Rigger. The successful candidate will help create internal structure for bones and articulations as well as skeleton and rigs for characters and objects. He or she will join a senior Animation team and work collaboratively with other departments.
We are based in Madrid and have the option of working at the studio and/or remotely.

Requisitos mínimos
Rigging or technical animation related training or equivalent experience.
Understanding animation and rigging workflows and core concepts
Excellent knowledge of UE4 or UE5, and Maya.
Excellent knowledge of characters and cloth.
Strong understanding of Python.
Familiarity with geometric and numerical algorithms
Excellent cross-team communication skills
A positive attitude to work collaboratively in an open team environment, giving feedback and being open to receive and act on constructive criticism
Responsabilidades
Create and develop character rigs in Maya for game production
Create and maintain facial rigs for different types of characters
Setup clothing and hair dynamics for characters.
Implement characters rig and deformations into the engine.
Work together with the animation team providing them with support, solutions and facilitate controls to improve their workflow
Work closely with art department to find the best solution for different models
Develop tools to improve efficiency in the rig department
Identify problems, bring fresh ideas to the team and drive creative solutions
Complete thorough documentation about technical working processes.
